Thanks to our generous donors and our partnership with the New York City Office of Immigrant Affairs we procured 1000 jackets for the men, women, and children Asylum seekers currently living in shelters in the Brooklyn area. We also provided a meal consisting of sandwiches and pizza.
The event took place at Iglesia De Evangelization in Brooklyn, NY, on Sunday, Dec 11, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It was truly priceless to see the joy and gratitude on the faces of people and families who were given warm jackets and meals.
Without the continued support from our donors and volunteers, as well as the collaboration with the NYC Office of Immigrant Affairs, we would not have been able to accomplish this.
It is our hope that in the next few months, we will be able to do even more for this community.
